Here comes the...
2025 was the year of collaboration for Studio Underd0g - and one of my personal highlights was the SB05 Sunfl0wer, created in partnership with Sartory Billard.

The colour scheme came to life one summer afternoon in Brighton, sketched out by Richard and me over coffee and conversation.
​
Limited to just 10 pieces, this release was a chance to really flex Studio Underd0g’s design chops - playful, unexpected, and unmistakably us.
Collab' spirit.
Collaborations with brands like Sartory Billard and H. Moser & Cie allow us at Studio Underd0g to 'design without limits'.

With the SB05 Sunfl0wer, we had the chance to experiment with intricate guilloché for the first time - a Sartory Billard specialty - to create something that simply wouldn’t have been possible without collaboration.
Concept to reality.
Seen here is an early concept sketch of what would eventually become the SB05 Sunfl0wer.

A number of design details are visible in their earliest form - one of my favourites being the green hands, a subtle nod to the leaves of a sunflower. While this detail became more understated in the final piece, it’s still one of the elements I’m most proud of.
